We’re back at the haunted Apollo Theater in Martinsburg, WV, for round two of ghost hunting — and this time, we weren’t alone!

🎭 Back to the Apollo Theater – Ghosts, Green Rooms, and a Sweetie Pie Spirit

Hey spooky cats! 🐾 Your favorite ghost-hunting feline is back with another tale from the haunted shadows — and this time, I returned to a place that still gives me chills: the Apollo Theater in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Now if you’ve been lurking around my YouTube channel (and I know you have, my creepy little kittens), you might remember I investigated this historic beauty once before. Built in 1914, this theater has seen more drama than a high school lunchroom — and I’m not just talking about the actors. From whispers in the catwalks to shadow figures backstage, this place is packed with paranormal potential.

So of course… I had to go back for more.

🕯️ A Paranormal Reunion – With New Friends!

This time, I didn’t go it alone. I joined forces with the Mid-Atlantic Paranormal Investigations Group, a super welcoming bunch who brought along their own bag of spooky tricks — including dowsing rods and pendulums. Now y’all know I’m a skeptical cat when it comes to those kinds of tools. I've used them before, and let's just say I’ve seen more action from a bored house cat than I have from a pendulum swinging under its own ghostly power.

But hey — that’s what these investigations are all about, right? Trying things out, keeping an open mind, and maybe, just maybe, getting surprised.

(And yes, I'm already plotting a future experiment video to test the heck outta those rods. Science, spooky-style. 😼)

👻 Meet the Apollo’s Ghostly Cast

Let’s talk about the spirits, because oh spooky cats, this theater has a full cast of characters — and they seem to love the spotlight.

🎩 George

The legend goes that George arrived by train and never made it far — he was murdered near the Apollo, and now he hangs around the green room and dressing rooms. People often feel his presence, especially during quiet moments when the stage is dark, and the air feels heavy. Was he trying to tell us something? One of our recorders caught a few weird blips… could be George… or just the theater creaking. (You know I’m not one to jump to ghostly conclusions.)

🧁 Sweetie Pie

This name is as adorable as it is spooky. Sweetie Pie is believed to be a little girl spirit who plays around the staircase area. When someone on the team pulled out dowsing rods, she was very chatty. Personally, I still think dowsing rods respond more to nerves and elbows than the beyond, but Sweetie Pie sure seemed to know her stuff. Her energy felt light, playful, and even a little mischievous — classic ghost kid behavior. 😈

🚬 Charlie

If you smell cigars and feel like someone in a fedora is watching from the shadows — congrats, you’ve probably just met Charlie, the theater's grumpy grandpa spirit. He’s said to be a former caretaker who keeps an eye on the place from the catwalks. Everyone on this trip smelled cigars, and we got a strange cold spot and some flickering lights up near the stage. Classic Charlie?

🎭 Woman in the Dress

Several people over the years have seen a woman in a long dress roaming the hallways, disappearing into thin air like a drama queen’s final bow. We didn’t see her this time, but one of the voice recorders caught a whisper when nobody was talking. Could be EVP, could be wishful thinking — you be the judge.

🎥 Equipment Tested: Science vs. Spook

You spooky cats know I don’t go anywhere without my trusty ghost hunting gear. We had:

  • REM pods (no false alarms this time — sorry skeptics!)

  • K2 meters

  • Night vision cameras

  • Digital recorders

  • Necrophonic app

  • And yes, even an old-school Polaroid camera (because ghosts love vintage flair).

While nothing leapt out and yelled “BOO” in our faces, there were a few interesting moments — a weird temperature dip, some creepy timing with dowsing rod responses, and at least one “WHAT WAS THAT?!” moment that made everyone freeze.

🐾 Final Thoughts from Your Favorite Spooky Cat

So was it haunted? Hmm. Let's just say… the Apollo Theater has vibes. Big ones. The kind that crawl under your skin when the lights go down and the silence hits just right.

Am I convinced George or Sweetie Pie popped by to say hello? Not completely.

But did I get some moments that made my little skeptical tail twitch? Oh yes. 👀

Stay tuned, spooky cats, because I’ll be testing dowsing rods and pendulums in future videos — and you know I’ll do it with science, sass, and just a sprinkle of supernatural curiosity. Until then, keep those claws sharp, your EMFs steady, and remember…

Stay spooky! 🖤
