Hi there fellow spooky people! Today I'm telling you about the beautiful cruise port of Cozumel, Mexico. I recently had the opportunity to visit this island paradise as part of my journey aboard the magnificent Symphony of the Seas, and let me tell you, it was an experience to remember.

So, what's so special about Cozumel, you might ask? Well, let me tell you - this place is a tropical paradise that combines breathtaking scenery, rich history, and a ton of fun activities to keep you entertained and enchanted for days.

First of all, the island itself is a sight to behold. With its

crystal-clear waters and pristine beaches, Cozumel is the perfect place to kick back and relax. And if you're looking for a little adventure, the island is home to some of the best snorkeling and diving spots in the world. That's why I chose to go on a catamaran excursion through Royal Caribbean to explore the stunning underwater world. It was an unforgettable experience, and I got to see so many colorful fish and stunning coral formations. The excursion had a photographer on board who will photograph you while you snorkel. The images were awesome. I recommend getting the photographer if you have money in your budget.

But that's not all there is to do in Cozumel. If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, you can go on a thrilling ATV tour of the island, visit a local tequila distillery, swim with dolphins, or go ziplining through the jungle. There's something for everyone here!

One of my favorite things to do in Cozumel was explore the local culture. The island is steeped in history, and there are plenty of fascinating ruins and ancient sites to visit. I took a tour of the famous San Gervasio Mayan Ruins, the largest ruins site on Cozumel, and it was truly awe-inspiring to see the remnants of this ancient civilization.

On a past cruise we went on a dolphin swim excursion in Cozumel and it was an experience I will never forget. The dolphins were friendly and playful, and I was able to swim and interact with them. The guides were knowledgeable and made sure we were all safe during the excursion. I was able to touch, hug, and even swim with the dolphins, which was an unforgettable moment.  The dolphin swim excursion was a magical experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cozumel. It is on the pricy side so you'll have plan for this one in your budget.

As someone who loves to travel on a budget, I was surprised to discover that there are areas to swim and snorkel for free near the cruise ships in Cozumel. During my recent trip to the island, I found that the water near the pier was as beautiful and teeming with marine life as any of the more expensive excursions I had considered. With my snorkel gear in hand, I was able to explore the vibrant coral reefs and observe a diverse array of tropical fish. The water was crystal clear and the visibility was fantastic, making for a truly magical experience. I was also able to save money by bringing my own snorkel gear. If you're on a budget and still want to enjoy the underwater wonders of Cozumel, I recommend checking out the free snorkeling areas near the cruise ships.

Of course, no visit to Cozumel would be complete without indulging in some of the local cuisine. The island is famous for its seafood, and I highly recommend trying the fresh ceviche and grilled lobster. And if you have a sweet tooth like me, you won't want to miss the delicious Mexican-style ice cream and pastries. Snack Bar Mandy is where we ended up and it was delicious. I highly recommend eating here if you like seafood.
