My Adventures on Royal Caribbean's Private Island: Exploring Things to do at Coco Cay

Hey there, I recently had the opportunity to visit Royal Caribbean's private island, Coco Cay, and boy was it an adventure! I had a great time exploring everything the island had to offer, but let me tell you, there were definitely some unexpected twists and turns along the way.

First we decided to check out Chill Island and do some snorkeling. We were excited to see some cool fish and a shipwreck, but unfortunately, the water was super cloudy and there were a ton of jellyfish lurking around. I really hate jellyfish after getting one wrapped around by arm as a child, so we abandoned our snorkeling plans and decided to explore the island instead.

Thankfully, there was a tram that took us around the island, so we hopped on and rode around to check out all the different areas. It took about 30 minutes for a tram to come and at that time all of them seemed to show up at once. Good thing, too, because people who had just walked over started getting on the trams even though we had been waiting for 30 minutes. Some very rude people on Symphony of the Seas.

We stumbled upon the Oasis area, where there was a huge pool and party happening. We weren't really in the mood for a big party, so we kept walking until we found the snack shack. We were hoping to grab a quick chicken sandwich, but unfortunately, we couldn't find it anywhere! Instead, we decided to check out the buffet in the lagoon area and were pleasantly surprised by all the delicious food options.

After stuffing our faces, we decided to walk back to the ship by crossing the lagoon. It was such a cool experience, walking through the shallow water seeing the beauty around us. It was definitely a highlight of the trip for me.

Overall, my experience at Coco Cay was really fun, even with the unexpected jellyfish and missing snack shack. I loved getting to explore all the different areas of the island, and the lagoon walk back to the ship was definitely a memorable moment. I would definitely recommend checking out Coco Cay if you ever have the chance! We will return to Coco Cay soon on Anthem, Enchantment, and Oasis! I hope I see you there.
